Wife of David Thornton the carpenter, and mother of Jack Thornton, Joe Thornton and Zoe Thornton, Pamela is a housewife who is often seen lusting after other men of the town while never committing physical adultery.
Early Life[]
Born in Elysian Fields, Pamela married her sweetheart David, straight out of high school and they moved to Grasmere Valley to live. While David always worked hard, Pamela was at home. The couple ended up having three children, Jack, Zoe and Joe Thornton. With Pamela being a full time mother she soon however gained a very unhealthy obsession with men. She always liked to run after men and although never commit physically adultery, her running around chasing after men and obsession with them is well known through out the town and causes great embarrassment and humiliation for her husband David.

Volume 1[]
She is listed as a citizen of Grasmere Valley from Volume 1. Zoe however is in boarding school in Rose Park Heights.
Volume 2[]
Pamela is among those at the Anti-Allergic Apple Altitude conference which had nothing to do with the title or was a conference but was a excuse for some of the ladies of the town to leave their husband and houses so they can watch Steve Queen, Pamela's favourite star and biggest crush in The Great Elope for the umpteenth time. It is here that Marvelle the cake thief is finally caught but so is Diva Danielle who has been desperate to stop him.
She also is seen declaring having a book club which is an excuse just to have her friends over to watch the first episode of Elle Robinson's talk show.
She and David are among those compete at the 77th annual dance marathon competition. David is trying during the competition to get his Pamela's attention but she is too busy gawking at Steve Queen who is competing with Mary Bishop. They end up being eliminated as during the running section as they were among the last sets of couples in the race which caused for them to be out.
Volume 3[]
Being a big fan of Steve Queen, she is seen watching him film Mason Mourne series in the mall along with Ms Izodel and Gypsie from Pakipsy. She is desperate to see him. With their over eagerness to see Steve they end wrecking the entire scene and from Steve to be thrown off the project.
She was among those at the Woman's Bible Study in the Church in Tier which really is just an excuse for some of the ladies to gossip. Involved with the 'Bible Study' was Mrs Slankovich, Janae, Ms Izodel, Gypsie from Pakipsy, Sarah Butcher, Myelin, Ms Dragon, Sam Jones, Julie, Veronica and Sue Latterbin. In this tale Sue comes to the Bible study and ends up hearing erroneous gossip about her husband Grant Latterbin who is much slimmer than Sue. The likes of Ms Izodel, Julie and Gypsie claimed that he had an affair and will leave Sue. She is devastated and ran out of the church to go to the park. Whilst there Grant appears an reassures her how much he loves her and how faithful he was. Soon enough she gleefully comes back to the 'Bible Study' and declares to them all that she was pregnant.
Volume 4[]
Being the big fan of Steve Queen she is, she is seen rushing to the cinema to see her leading man in the last Knatman film along with the likes of Wilma Timber and Ms Izodel at the cinema.
Volume 5[]
She and David arrived late to Mr Grasmere and Mrs Grasmere event of wanting to send a message to the town they have captured with having crocodiles about to eat those who tried to go against the town.

Joe moves away from Grasmere Valley to find a new job and start a new life for himself.
Volume 7[]
Mrs Taffy wanting her husband among many other of her demands, requests for Pamela to go and find her a man to marry as she trusted Pamela's judgement and taste in men.
Pamela and David are seen among the crowd saying goodbye to Sam Bishop as he steps down as Prime Minister. Pamela declares her love for him much to David's great annoyance.
Zoe returns from boarding school in Rose Park Heights and now lives with Pamela, David and Jack in Grasmere Valley.
Volume 8[]
Her son Jack died in the Great Fire created by Michael Novak. Jack was seen in the La Vista when the fire was going him trying to call his parents but he was never able to say goodbye to them.
Volume 9[]
After Michael Novak is arrested for being involved with the Great fire, there is a great discussion as to whether allow the New Pilgrims to stay as they were brought as part of Michael Novak's support base and with them being involved in activities such as nearly throwing Gary Robinson over the cliff their status is not known until the meeting. When Ed Schultz begins his speech, Pamela comments how she finds his accent so sexy. She has no problem with openly flirting but her husband David does as he glares to her as he is sitting next to.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Christmas 4[]
When the lorry filled with presents that were been offered to Robert Laundry in return to release Serena, Robin, Mark, Ben and Reuben who were kidnapped by him begins to roll down the hill, Pamela scratched Lee Xing-Jung's eyes wanting to get a hand on the gifts. It is also referenced that Pamela found Robert Laundry dreamy something which her husband David Thornton clearly is not a fan of.
Volume 10[]
Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be more woman crazy than Pamela is man crazy by Chloe Millog.
She is seen at the Town Hall as everyone try to find out who is the Mafia trying to take out the entire town. Pamela ends up along with Gypsie from Pakipsy voting for Steve Queen their favourite movie star as part of the Mafia and are responsible for getting him put to death as a result, even though it turned out he was innocent. In the end however it turns out everyone is just playing a game of Mafia and no one was hurt.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Eurovision[]
Pamela and David are among those outside the town hall waiting to hear an announcement from the new prime minister Mr Logan as many have theories as to what he will be announcing. Pamela hopes he is resigning and wants Sam Bishop to return as prime minister which she explains to Kelly-Anne Davis as he finds him so sexy. It turns out Grasmere Valley are entering Eurovision as an entry with Tracy Bangles representing. The pair along with the entire town go to the competition as the audience. She doesn't seem to have notice Hanna Clamount and remarks maybe she did not come when asked. David says how the entire town came and that Pamela properly did not realise she was here as all she notices is the opposite sex.
Volume 11[]
Pamela Thornton and Gypsie from Pakipsy still super fans of Steve Queen are at the premier for The Happy Boat hoping to see Steve Queen there. In fact they don't care about any of the others leads like Marx Gabo and Sarah Jenkins the stars of the show calling them boring. The ladies argue between each other as to who has a chance with him. When Steve arrives the applauds raises significantly as everyone is waiting to see him. Steve soon realises they are there as he walks as quick as he can to get away from them. The ladies are calling for him including mentioning they watched him in Battlefield World the Scientologist film which is so bad but loving him so much Gypsie watched it. After the two being shouted by Roger Gerrow to get a clue he is not interested they do be quiet, but Pamela ends up getting after Steve Queen and with him running away and falling over Marx Gabo's foot, managing to pull him up is Pamela Thornton. Delighted she barrages him questions and begins to sit next to him. Steve points out she is married but she remarks that they can get married after her husband dies. He falls on the floor and then helped up by Abby Jenkins. Pamela believed that him falling on the floor was because he was in awe of it. However as Steve sit next to Abby and clearly has feelings for her, this sight causes for Pamela to faint.
She is among those who goes to the US for what they believe is the Oscars for the film The Happy Boat but it is in fact the Toscars. Pamela has an unidentified species in her hair when they are going through a shortcut being led by Margo.
Volume 12[]
Pamela Thornton had hired Georgi Sykes to find out if Zac Menser had abs. Georgi ends up finding him at Club Flamingo when she is focusing on another case of Paul Murray.

She is among those in the Christmas Carol service, who comes very late to the rehearsal due to black timing much to Mel who was in charge great annoyance.
She wants the role of Mary and fights it with Melissa Fletcher with both accusing the other not being pure enough for the role. When Melissa's husband Nicholas Fletcher got fired, Pamela asks why Melissa was not comforting him, to which Melissa replied he is such a loser and did not want to bother doing such a thing.
Volume 15[]
When Adam Roe is looking for a wife in the reality series, Who Wants to Marry Adam Roe? Pamela Thornton is among the contestants despite the fact she is very much married to David Thornton. She is clearly not a fan of fellow contestant Kirsten White who is the first to be evicted.
While David Thornton is working with Mont Berkley moving a cot into Daisy's house, Mannix Barnes interrupts them calling for David causing for the cot to fall and break. David is clearly annoyed and wonders why he interrupted him. Mannix however ends up revealing the fact that his wife Pamela Thornton was a contestant on Who Wants to marry Adam Roe? David ended up throwing Mannix into the van and drove straight to the set of the show to see what is happening. As he gets there he caught Pamela snuggling up to Adam Roe and flirting with him as she and the other contestants are in the hot tub. David is furious and after asking what Adam is doing with his wife ends up charging down the street as he managed to catch him and jumped on top of him before all those running after the scene fall on top of each other causing a pile up. Their daughter Zoe Thornton as David and Pamela return wondered what happened to which David says she should watch the TV to find out.
Volume 17[]
She appears at Club Flamingo interested to see if Chad Wilkinson will win the lottery as he keeps getting the numbers. Chad does making everyone ecstatic for him. But when it is found out that many had the same numbers so much so the lottery winner get £1 each,most of those supporting Chad, Pamela included leave.
Volume 20[]
Mrs Holland goes frantic when for the 1st annual Grasmere Valley Awards, Quentin Smithe had assigned Pamela next to Brock Abraham as she knows of her lustful nature and with someone as well built as Brock and being a man she says is like placing an alcoholic next to the bar. It is also revealed that Pamela as well as going for any man that moved that she was trying to chat up to a guy for 20 minutes who turned out to be a corpse. In the end Quentin assigns her next to Mrs Taffy.
She and David end up winning the award for couple most likely to have a divorce to which David is really horrified by it that he requested for Franny May to get the award burn.
When Brock Abraham begins having a panic attack about the thought of presenting an award, Pamela is among those who goes there and is very unhelpful as she tries to flirt up a storm with him. Mary Bishop, chastises Pamela for her not helping and her shameless flirting.
She is also, not surprisingly among the many women who stand up and admit to have had a relationship with Frederick Grainger who is engaged to Elizabeth Parkinson. Elizabeth distraught by this dumped Frederick, pushed him in the crowd, she ended being engaged to Edward King.

When Dominic and Anthony Veira try to rugby tackle Adam Robinson who is ruining Tim Drixall first TV sermon as pastor of the church in Gracefield the pair fail and instead one rugby tackles Pamela while the other Lady Getty.

Zoe moves away from Grasmere Valley at the end of Volume 22.
Volume 24 []
When James Dontos is believed to be dying, Pamela is among those who is waiting to audition to sing at his funeral as organised by Tessa Crab even though James Dontos was still alive. Pamela hopes its her time to shine but upon finding out from Amara Merritt and June Merritt that Tessa was judging, since it was a woman, Pamela said she had no chance as it wasn't a man she could try and flirt her way through and left the audition.
Pamela is among those crowding around James Dontos's house as it is revealed he is dying. During among those crowd he is among those who were knocked over when Marge had to turn round. It is about to be revealed by Dr Nathan Jones in front of the crowd that James had passed away where the crowd made such noise about his passing and soon chased after Tessa Crab whose trying to claim James named her as his successor for being a mayor. It turns out however James Dontos is very much still alive and is cured from his illness.

She has a stand at the 1000th Anniversary of Grasmere Valley's founding. She held a stand where she was selling kisses.

The incident of Pamela Thornton trying to chase Steve Queen by Wilma Timber is referenced. Nanny Prescot also makes a point how while Pamela is known for being man hungry, it technically didn't apply as she already had a man she was married to, poor David Thornton.
Volume 42[]
Pamela and David are among those at the charity bachelor auction in order to help defeat cancer. Pamela is there bidding on some of the men there such as Dr Troy Collins, and Jason Ling. When there is one last bachelor left, Pamela looking like she will bid her life away to go on a date, David grabbed her and ran out of the auction causing many to think why he is still with his wife.

Miss Adams is compared to her by Kathy Allen, saying like Pamela Miss Adams is just man hungry.

She is seen commentating online over the picture of Gerry Anderson meeting with Dylan Crump and Andrea Purnell. She comments how she wants Sam Bishop back as Prime Minister as she still finds him desirable.

Luca Mera when he is at the office of Big Garrett after he leaves after over hearing him trying to call up ladies to be his plus one for the 50th Volumes celebrations. He goes into the office picks up the paper was calling and realises he is calling all the ladies name from the song lyrics of Mamba Number 5 which he finds hilarious. He remarks that he missed out Pamela, referring to Pamela Thornton which he remarked she would jump at the chance however David Thornton her husband clearly wouldn't.

Among the couples are Pamela Thornton and David Thornton along with the couples who come are Harvey Robinson and Elle Robinson, Kate Carey and Ryan Carey, James Dontos and Anne Dontos, Eric Gladville and Gladice Gladville, Jay Karl and Mikey Karl and Damian Burchens and Ruth Burchens.
Pamela flirted with Son of a Preacher Man and The Preacher Man during the marriage service between her and David which causes everyone while the footage to be rather disturbed by this. Christmas has come around again and the question as to who will be invited for Christmas day. Nanny Prescot wants her family round whereas Economy Dad wants a very quiet Christmas with no one invited at all and soon it is decided by Nanny Prescot that everyone should make a list as to who they want to come over. Pamela Thornton and David Thornton end up turning up as Pamela ends up lusting over Handy Andy who Nanny Prescot has hired to do the decorations. They soon make the list as does Pamela Thornton and they then give the list to David to read out. They soon go through the list with Economy Dad wanting no one, Abdul wanting Jeremy Corbyn, Pamela and Champaine wanting Handy Andy sans clothing, PJ Simmons wanting this year X-Factor winner, Frugal Mum her family the Hewberries, Devon his ‘mentor’ Drake and Nanny Prescot her family and later on when Mrs Ambrose, Kelly Barbour, Janet Herman and Daisy turn up also them. As they agree for certain people to be invited Economy Dad who was determined to have a quiet Christmas gets the hump and walks off. They then take it in turns to try and cheer him up. It’s not until Nanny Prescot does her thing that Economy Dad ends up relenting. They soon have a pre-Christmas dinner at 21st of December and Handy Andy who is there, with his clothes says grace. He reveals however he has a very high voice, shattering the illusion that he is a very manly man causing for Pamela and Champaine go walking.
